Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-01Investfood SRL respects your privacy. This page explains which data we collect when you visit investfood.tech, why we do it and what you can do about it. It is the notice required by Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Who processes your data
The data controller is Investfood SRL, Via Riva di Trento 11A, postcode Milan (MI), Italy. VAT number VAT no.. For anything concerning your data write to info@investfood.it.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as none of the cases in Article 37 GDPR applies. Confirm, or replace with the DPO contact details
2. Which data we collect
This site is an informational showcase: it has no contact forms, requires no registration and installs no profiling or advertising tools. The data that reaches us is minimal, and this is all of it.
Browsing data
Like any website, the server hosting investfood.tech automatically records some technical information on every visit: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, response status, browser and operating system, and the referring page if any. It keeps the site running and protects it from abuse.
Data you send us
If you write to info@investfood.it we process your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message, in order to answer you and manage any relationship that follows.
Storage on your device
We store a single entry in your browser's local storage: the choice you make in the cookie banner. It holds no personal identifier and is never sent anywhere. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

Providing browsing data is technically necessary to visit the site. Writing to us is entirely up to you: if you do not, we simply cannot reply.
4. Who can see your data
Data is never disclosed publicly or sold. Within the limits of their roles it may be accessed by:
- Investfood SRL staff authorised to process it;
- the hosting provider serving the site, appointed as processor under Article 28 GDPR: hosting provider name;
- the email provider, for the messages you send us: email provider name;
- public authorities, where the law requires it.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
The site's typefaces are hosted on our own servers: no request goes to external services while you browse and your IP address never leaves the site's infrastructure. Should the providers listed in section 4 process data outside the EEA, the transfer will rely on a European Commission adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses. Check where the chosen provider is based
6. Automated decision-making
We carry out no profiling and no automated decision-making producing legal effects concerning you.
7. Your rights
You may exercise the rights in Articles 15 to 22 GDPR at any time:
- find out whether we process data about you and obtain a copy (access);
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected (rectification);
- obtain erasure of the data, where the conditions are met;
- request restriction of processing;
- receive the data in a structured, machine-readable format (portability);
- object to processing based on legitimate interest.
To exercise them write to info@investfood.it. We reply within one month, save for a reasoned extension in the cases allowed.
8. Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, garanteprivacy.it, or take the matter to court.
